About Cosette Studio

Hi, I'm Flora - the one-woman studio behind Cosette.

I've been sewing for over 15 years. It started as a personal hobby - I'd get an idea for something I wanted to wear, couldn't find it anywhere and so attempted to make it myself!! During Covid I started sewing face masks, and people were donating me bags of their old clothes that I could use as materials. I had piles and piles of pieces that couldn't be used for masks. This was the beginning of something beauuutiful - figuring out how to turn forgotten fabrics into pieces someone could actually love and wear.

Cosette grew from that. I make one-of-a-kind pieces guided by the materials themselves. I try not to force the design and instead work with the material I have, which is why each piece is unique. Everything - sourcing, cutting, sewing, and packing - happens in my bedroom studio in Athens.

I usually drop new pieces once a week, and because everything is small-scale, I also love offering custom tweaks or even completely custom designs. The whole point is to help you get something that feels just for you. Cosette is for anyone who wants to feel special in what they wear. Most of my pieces lean towards womenswear right now, but I'm very very excited to grow into a more diverse collection.
